ASTM A194 is a standard specification issued by ASTM International that covers carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel nuts for high-pressure or high-temperature service, typically used with bolts, studs, or other fasteners manufactured to ASTM A193

Description of Material

ASTM A194 Grade 8A are manufactured from AISI 304 (UNS S30400) stainless steel, by either forging by hot or cold method or machine from conditioned bar, in a carbide solution treated condition for corrosive resistant applications. 8A differs from standard ASTM A194 8 material in that the finished form undergoes a further final carbide solution treatment to soften the material for use in specific application.
Manufactured to ASTM A194 standard specification, LoneStar can also offer with supplementary requirements of the standard as required by the application.
